Mammootty’s next mass thriller titled ‘Bazooka’

Mammootty, on Sunday (Apr 10), dropped the title poster of his next. The superstar will be headlining an upcoming film titled ‘Bazooka’. Touted to be a mass thriller, the film is helmed by veteran scriptwriter late Kaloor Dennis’ son Deeno.

The title poster features Mammootty decked up in a black suit, standing calm, with his gun, as he is surrounded by armed men with lasers pointing at him. The alley where the scene is staged, and the flashy signboards of the hotels nearby hint at a stylish thriller. The title poster looks extremely promising.

“Presenting the Title Look Poster of Bazooka Movie. Written and Directed by Deeno Dennis, Produced by Theatre of Dreams & Saregama,” Mammootty said, launching the title poster.

'Bazooka' is reportedly mounted on a massive budjet, and is billed as a mass thriller. Written and directed by Deeno Dennis, ‘Bazooka’ also has Tamil filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon in a pivotal role. Shine Tom Chacko too is reportedly part of the cast, however, the makers are yet to make an official announcement.

On the technical front, Nimish Ravi has roped in as he cinematographer, and Nishadh Yusuf is the editor. The music for the film will be scored by Midhun Mukundan.

On the work front, Mammootty’s recent releases were ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ and ‘Christopher’. The superstar has Jeo Baby’s ‘Kaathal - The Core’ in the pipeline. Also, Mammootty has recently wrapped up the shoot of ‘Kannur Squad’.
