, Manju Warrier and the crew of Sanal Kumar Sashidharan's 'Kayattam' have been rescued. The actress, who enjoys massive fan following, took to social media to inform her well-wishers that the team has been rescued and they are now safe. Manju also expressed gratitude to everyone for showering her with love and care.

Reacting to the flood situation in Kerala, Manju stated, “Hope we all stay together in this like last year.”




A film crew of about 30 members, including Manju Warrier, were shooting in Chhatru in Himachal Pradesh for award-winning filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's upcoming project, 'Kayyatam'. The team went to Chhattru to shoot the film in its picturesque landscapes as the plot is about mountaineering, revealed a source. Not stationed in any hotel, the team was camping in tents in Chhatru, which is about 100 km away from Manali. However, following the heavy rains and landslides in Himachal Pradesh the team was stuck. The incident came to light after Manju phoned her brother, Madhu. The government officials were informed and finally, the team was rescued yesterday and they safely reached Manali.
