If it wasn’t for the pandemic lockdown, director Santosh Sivan’s Manju Warrier-starrer

would have hit theatres in April 2020. Now, after months of waiting, the team has released a fun lyrical video of one of its tracks titled

Kim Kim Kim

, which is rendered by Manju Warrier.

The actress shared a video on her social media page, talking about the song and working in the movie. “Kim Kim Kim is a fun and peppy song from the movie Jack N Jill, in which I have acted in and is directed by Santosh Sivan. You would understand what’s fun about it when you listen to it and also watch its visuals. It’s a fun and quirky movie that I loved working in. Along with me, there’s Kalidas Jayaram, Soubin, Nedumudi Venu, Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph and so many other brilliant actors. Even when I was singing and recording and also shooting the visuals of this particular song, it was so much fun and I hope all of that reflects when the audience listens and sees the visuals of it,” said Manju Warrier.

On Manju’s role in the film, Santosh had earlier told us, “Manju plays a simple woman who is being experimented upon in this multi-genre, fun and young film. The role has different arcs in the two halves of the film and Manju was perfect for it. I always wanted to collaborate with her in a project that was different, and I am glad we could do that. Soubin also plays a very important role.”
