The Malayalam movie 'Manjummel Boys' continues to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline and unforgettable scenes even months after its release. The film's impact extends beyond the borders of Kerala, earning rave reviews in Tamil Nadu and sparking discussions on social media platforms.

Recently, director Chidambaram shed light on some behind-the-scenes secrets that have piqued the curiosity of fans. One particular scene, where actor Sreenath Bhasi's character, Subhash, descends into a pit and emerges barely alive, covered in dirt and smut, has left a lasting impression on viewers.

According to Asianet News, It is now revealed by the director that Sreenath Bhasi's transformation for this scene involved an unconventional technique - applying biscuit cream to his body.

Chidambaram explained that the scene required dirt on the body, and according to the storyline, it was supposed to have accumulated post-rainfall. This prompted them not to use any prosthetic makeup.

The director said that Sreenath Bhasi demonstrated a remarkable commitment to the role by enduring ant bites while applying Oreo cream on his body to achieve the desired effect. Makeup artist Ronex Xavier played a pivotal role in facilitating this transformation, which left actor Soubin Shahir visibly impressed by Sreenath Bhasi's dedication to the character.

In addition to Sreenath Bhasi's remarkable performance, 'Manjummel Boys' boasted a talented ensemble cast, including Soubin Shahir, Deepak Parambol, Khalid Rahman, Arun Kurien, Vishnu Raghu, Balu Varghese, Ganapathy, Lal Jr., and Abhiram Radhakrishnan.
