‘Manorathangal’ trailer: Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal and Mammootty star in the anthology series

‘Manorathangal’, an anthology series of nine films scripted by the iconic M. T. Vasudevan Nair is set for release. The makers of the film have launched the trailer on M. T. Vasudevan Nair’s birthday today (July 15). Featuring some of the biggest stars from Indian cinema including Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, and Mammootty are starring in the anthology.

The trailer gives a sneak peek into the 9 films, starring the finest actors, and helmed by eight directors. Priyadarshan is directing two films ‘Olavum Theeravum’, and ‘Shilalikhatam’. Ranjith, Shyamaprasad, Aswathy V Nair, Mahesh Narayanan, Santosh Sivan, and Rathish Ambat are the other directors.

‘Manorathangal’ has 9 films - Ollavum Theeravum (Priyadarshan), Kadugannava Oru Yathra (Ranjth), Kazhcha (Shayamprasad), Shilalikhatam (Priyadarshan), Vilpana (Aswathy V Nair), Sherlock (Mahesh Narayanan), Swargam Thurakkuna Samayam (Jayarajan Nair), Abhyam Theedi Vendum (Santosh Sivan ASC, ISC), and, Kadalkkattu (Rathish Ambat).

The ensemble cast includes Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Madhoo, Nedumudi Venu, Fahadh Faasil, Biju Menon, Nadiya Moidu, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Indrajith, Aparna Balamurali, Asif Ali, Harish Uthaman, Shanthi Krishna, Joy Mathew, Kailash, Indrans, Renji Panicker, Surabhi Lakshmi, Siddique, Ishit Yamini, and, Naseer Sanskranthy.

‘Manorathangal’ is set to release on ZEE5 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages on August 15.
