‘Marco’ box office collections day 24: Unni Mukundan starrer mints Rs 99.8 crores worldwide

It’s only a matter of hours before the Unni Mukundan starrer action flick ‘Marco’ hits down Rs 100 crores worldwide.

According to the Sacnilk website, Haneef Adeni’s directorial has collected Rs 99.8 crores worldwide in just 24 days and the India Net collections for the film stand at Rs 58.15 crores. The Overseas collections for the action flick stand at Rs 32 crores and the India Gross collections are 67.8 crores.


Breaking down the India Net collections for ‘Marco’, the movie has collected Rs 40.93 crore in Malayalam, Rs 11.45 crore in Hindi, Rs 4.43 crore in Telugu, and Rs 1.34 crore in Tamil. On day 23, the film collected Rs 70 lakhs from India comprising of Rs 23 lakhs from Malayalam, Rs 42 lakhs from Hindi, Rs 1 lakh from Telugu, and Rs 4 lakhs from Tamil.


In the third week, India’s most violent action flick made a high of Rs 13.15 crore with Rs 3.19 crore from Malayalam, Rs 5.92 crore from Hindi, Rs 2.76 crore from Telugu, and Rs 1.28 crore from Tamil.


Directed by Haneef Adeni, ‘Marco’ is the spin-off of the Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Mikhael’ which had flopped at the box office with mediocre reviews from the audiences. With stunning action sequences, Unni Mukundan’s screen presence, and specifically the violent sequences in the second half, ‘Marco’ received much traction from Kerala and other states. The movie started its Tamil premiere recently and is getting good reviews from the Tamil audiences as well.

Meanwhile, the recently released Tovino Thomas starrer thriller 'Identity' is getting mixed reviews from the audiences.
