Previous episode: #Whatif 'Thor: Ragnarok' was made in Mollywood
#Simon Says, “Let it be a full-on action entertainer or a nail-biting suspense thriller, there is always an essence of romance in every story. Today we will be traveling through the streets of Vienna along with Jesse and Celine and will be checking out the possibilities of ‘Before Sunset’ being remade in Mollywood. Kindly pass me the tickets as ETimes presents the 33rd episode of #Whatif ‘Before Sunset’ was made in Mollywood.”

#Simon Says, “ It would be hard for anyone not to fall in love with the young and charming Jesse in ‘Before Sunset’. Hollywood actor Ethan Hawke played the character in the film. Coming to the Mollywood remake, the most charming and versatile actor Dulquer Salmaan could be the perfect option to reprise the role of Jesse.”

#Simon Says, “ Celine is the female lead character in ‘Before Sunset’ who has a different outlook on life and is also an open-minded person with whom one could easily fall in love. Keerthy Suresh, who has the knack to play such a serious yet romantic character will be apt to essay the role of Celine in the Mollywood remake of ‘Before Sunset’.”

#Simon Says, “What makes the Hollywood movie ‘Before Sunset’ different from the other usual rom-com movies is mainly due to the place in which the story is set in. One could immerse in love with the beautiful frames that are set in Vienna. Coming to the Mollywood remake, let's take Jesse and Celine to Fort Kochi and make them spend a romantic day there. The vintage look of Fort Kochi makes it the perfect place to shoot the Mollywood remake of ‘Before Sunset’.”

#Simon Says, “You can see the name Shaan Rahman in the majority of the romantic or feel-good Malayalam movies, and nevertheless to say, he is one of the perfect music composers who just oozes in a different kind of romantic vibe with his style of music composition. Imagine Shaan Rahman’s score flowing in the background when Celine says, “Baby you are gonna miss that plane.” Goosebumps isn’t it?”
#Simon Says, “So we have completed our travel through the beautiful place of Vienna with the wonderful couple Jesse and Celine. Looking at our possibilities, the Mollywood remake of ‘Before Sunset’ would just work wonders. I really hope you guys loved today’s episode. See you all next week at the same time with yet another interesting episode of #Whatif. Till then bye.”

Martin mentioned in his Instagram post that G Aravindan’s ‘Kummatty’ has a very sweet and engaging story along with several visually striking sequences. The director also said that ‘Kummatty’, which is an adaptation of a Central Kerala folktale, is a must-watch one. The restored version of ‘Kummatty’ was screened on Monday (July 11) at 7:00 PM and will be available on-demand at 7:00 PM local time.
The ‘Taxi Driver’ director’s Instagram note read, “Govindan's KUMMATTY is an adaptation of a Central Kerala folktale featuring a partly mythic and partly real magician called Kummatty. A sweet and engaging story and a visually stunning film, KUMMATTY is a must-see, especially since it has been largely unavailable outside of India until now. Also, be sure to watch the special features with Govindan's son, Ramu, and Film Heritage Foundation founder Shivendra Singh Dungarpur.”
His post further read, “KUMMATTY was restored by The Film Foundation’s World Cinema Project, Film Heritage Foundation, and Cineteca di Bologna at L’Immagine Ritrovata laboratory, in association with General Pictures and the family of Aravindan Govindan. Funding provided by the Material World Foundation.”
