runs in this family’s blood. Megastar Mohanlal’s daughter Vismaya - Maya for short - is releasing her

book

of art and poetry, titled

Grains of Stardust

. The youngster who first announced the book over a year back, spoke about how the idea of publishing it came about.

Writing about it on social media, she said, “Grains of Stardust came together unexpectedly. They are poems or thoughts that I wrote at various phases of my life. They were sometimes typed out on my phone whilst waiting for the subway or while I was listening to a beat that I liked, or words that came to me when I was looking at a painting or at nature.

Whilst living in Nyc, I had made a little book with some writing and drawings and I left it somewhere in Central Park for someone to pick up. I still wonder who would have found it. But I just love that idea, that a book or a little piece of art can find you.

And that was my plan for this book too :) but then I thought, what if I were to publish it? And here we are. An artsy book that is both philosophical and sappy, with some sparkles sprinkled on top : )”

Mohanlal posted how this was a “proud moment” for him. While Vismaya seems to keep a fairly low profile, she often posts her art on her social media account. And if her post on her weight loss journey is anything to go by, her poetry is sure to be honest and identifiable.
