Meera returns to Sandalwood after Mohanlal film

It���s busy days for the Mollywood actress, who will next be seen playing an intense role in director Amar���s Kannada film
It has been a lucky year for actress Meera Nanda. Not only that she ensured she's made her presence felt in all four south film industries, but she has two releases lined up with some of the leading actors in M-Town, including Mohanlal and Jayaram.
Now, Meera is also getting busy in Kannada as well. Even before the release of her Kannada movie Crorepathi, Meera has signed her next project there ��� director Amar���s out-and out-romantic film.
���It���s a pucca romantic movie that involves two youngsters. The film is about the difficulties they have to face due to their different religious backgrounds,��� says Meera, who has been paired opposite reality show star Arun Gowda in the film.
The actress agrees that it is a tried and tested formula but she says the treatment would be entirely different. ���The director has been working on the script for the last three years. I took up the role mainly because I felt I will be able to deliver an intense performance in this film. The director also seemed really passionate about the subject,��� says Meera, who will start shooting for the film in Mysore in January.
The actress is quite thrilled with the way her career is progressing and says, ���A lot of substantial roles are coming my way, not just in Malayalam but in other south industries as well. Finally, I am in a position to be selective,��� says Meera.
As of now, Meera has 4th Degree in Telugu, Crorepathi in Kannada, and a Mohanlal-starrer lined up for release.
The actress, who debuted in Mollywood in 2008, is, no doubt, working her way up.
