'Mera Naam Shaji' video song launched

Actor Tovino launched the first video song of ‘

Mera Naam Shaji

’, a romantic number filmed on actors Asif Ali and Nikhila Vimal. The richly-choreographed song, titled ‘

Manasukulla

’, is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Ranjith. The duet is partly in Malayalam – in the male bit- and partly in Tamil. The song is composed by Emil Muhammed.

The film, directed by Nadirshah, features Asif Ali, Biju Menon and Baiju in the title roles; they play three Shajis, hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode. The teaser, which was released recently, gave a hint of the rollicking entertainer it is likely to be. Nadirshah’s earlier films ‘Amar Akbar Antony’ and ‘Kattapanayile Hrithik Roshan’ were well received.
