Mohanlal and
Mammootty dominated Mollywood, it was ruled by evergreen actor
Prem Nazir. The duo will now pay tribute to the late star by releasing a book tiled
Nithyaharitham
, which chronicles the life of Prem Nazir.
The book started off as a 200-page venture but with the information contributed by his colleagues, friends, family and other renowned personalities, became an encyclopaedia of sorts on Prem Nazir with a total of more than 1000 pages.
G Suresh Kumar, the chairman of the Prem Nazir Foundation, said that the team has been working on the venture for the past 18 months.
Mohanlal and Mammootty will be releasing the book at an event in TDM Hall in Kochi at 6pm on March 24. Apart from the State’s culture minister AK Balan, a huge line-up guests including Kunchacko Boban, Jayaram, Kamal, TN Krishnakutty and Sibi Malayail will be present. The event will also feature a musical programme.
