to Palakkad on a mission. And the character Gopan reportedly has a black Mercedes car with a 2255 registration number.

South star Shraddha Srinath has been signed in to play an IAS officer in the film and the actress will be joining the team soon. Actors Nedumudi Venu, Saikumar, Siddique, Ashwin Kumar, Rachana Narayanankutty, Johnny Antony, Vijayaraghavan, Nandu, Swasika, and Neha Saxena have roped in to play some supporting characters in the film.

‘Aaraattu’ is expected to be a mass entertainer and while talking to us earlier, the director has confirmed that the film will have action sequences. The team will be taking all the precautionary steps suggested by the government while filming and it also becomes the first Mollywood project to film action sequences during the pandemic situation. The interesting title and Mohanlal’s collaboration with B Unnikrishnan and Udayakrishna have raised the bar of expectation amongst cinephiles and all eyes are on the project.
