Mohanlal calls for unity on the wake of Uri attacks

Mohanlal has termed the attack on Indian soliders in Uri a shameless act by Pakistan. Lal says, a retaliation should be given in a befitting manner at a suitable time in the context of Uri attack.

The actor wrote on his blog. He also stated that although the martyred soldiers are strangers to him he can feel the pain and loss their families are going at the moment.

Mohanlal who is a honourary Lieutenant Colonel with the Territorial Army also recalled his familiarity with Kashmir. He said I have visited Kashmir before and I know the terrain and how difficult it is. Meanwhile, he also criticized those who are trying to make this a political issue.

Lal says, by doing so we are ridiculing the lives of those soldiers who fought for our country,' he wrote. Mohanlal ended his blogpost, titled Amar Jawan Amar Bharath, calling for unity among all Indians in the face of a serious threat from the enemy.
