The film’s success journey reached a milestone when it entered the Rs 50 crore club within a span of 9 days, showcasing its widespread appeal. Mohanlal took to social media to extend his heartfelt appreciation to all supporters and admirers who contributed to the movie’s success.

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, 'Neru' boasts a script by Santhi Mayadevi, who also played a significant role in the film.
‘Neru’ was released in theatres on December 21 alongside SRK’s 'Dunki', captivating audiences with its engaging storyline and stellar performances. The ensemble cast features Mohanlal, Priyamani, Anaswara Rajan, Siddique, Sankar Induchoodan, Santhi, and Jagadish, showcasing their prowess on screen. The soulful musical score for the film was composed by Vishnu Shyam, adding depth to its narrative.
Interestingly, Mohanlal has an interesting lineup ahead. Starting with Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ to Joshiy’s ‘Rambaan’, Mohanlal is expected to make his grand comeback in the year 2023, after a series of underwhelming movies.
