Pranav is seen clicking a picture with his camera in the poster and the Keralite cinephiles can’t help but find an uncanny resemblance with Mohanlal’s classic movie ‘Chithram’. Mohanlal too appeared in a similar pose in ‘Chithram’ and now watching his son Pranav Mohanlal in a similar recreation has left the cinephiles nostalgic!

‘Hridayam’ is an upcoming
Malayalam
film helmed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The movie is expected to be a campus romance drama, and it will feature Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles. Vineeth Sreenivasan has reportedly completed most of the shoot prior to the second wave of pandemic, and has apparently left a song to film.
The makers have recently released a glimpse of its audio track and it suggests that ‘Hridayam’ will be a musical. There are 15 tracks in the film and most of them are crooned by popular playback singers including Hesham Abdul Wahab, KS Chithra, Mohammed Maqbool Mansoor,
Sachin Warrier
, Job Kurian,
Unni Menon
, and Aravind Venugopal. Actors Prithviraj Sukumaran and Darshana Rajendran too are lending their voices for two songs in the film.
The movie is backed by Merryland Cinemas and it is expected to hit the big screens once the pandemic situation improves and theatres reopen.
