Mohanlal thanks fans and friends for the heartfelt birthday messages

Superstar Mohanlal turned 63 on Sunday (May 21), and his family, friends, and fans showered him with love and birthday greetings. Mohanlal was overwhelmed by the love he received from everyone on the special day. The actor has taken a moment to express his gratitude to all those who made him feel special and blessed on his birthday.

In a note shared on Facebook, Mohanlal said, "Taking a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for all the wishes and warm thoughts that poured in for me today. I will hold each one of them close to my heart as a reminder of the love that surrounds me in this life. Once again, thank you!"

Meanwhile, Mohanlal celebrated his 63rd birthday with underprivileged children. The actor also shared pictures of him cutting the cake and spending some time with the kids. "A humble birthday celebration with the blessings of the little angels of Angelz Hut, a shelter home run by the HUM Foundation! The project nurtures girls from underprivileged communities, empowering them for a great future," Mohanlal said, sharing the pictures.

The superstar also donated a house to the family of a Kozhikode native who lost his life during the 2019 flood rescue operation. He handed over the key on his birthday and said, "The key to the second house, newly constructed under the ViswaSanthi Foundation's Santhi Bhavanam project, has been handed over to Linu's family. Linu is a native of Kozhikode who lost his life in the 2019 flood rescue operations after landing several lives to safety. This is a tribute of love and thanks to this hero and his family."
