Mohanlal unveils Saniya Iyappan’s look as Jhanvi from ‘L2: Empuraan’

After unveiling the character look poster for the side characters, Mohanlal has now shared the first look poster for Saniya Iyappan’s pivotal character Jhanvi in the upcoming film ‘L2: Empuraan’.


Mohanlal took to his official Instagram handle to share the character look poster for the actress. Along with a poster, the makers had also attached a video where Saniya Iyappan is seen reminiscing about her ‘Empuraan’ journey.




“Hi I am Saniya Iyappan. Jhanvi from Lucifer. I played the daughter of Priyadarshini Ramdas , the character portrayed by Manju Warrier. Now five years later, with Empuraan coming, I am back before you as Jhanvi,” the actress said in the video.


Saniya further said that in the first installment, Lucifer, she played a teenage character who has now evolved as a Jhanvi who is more mature and takes things seriously. “After my debut film, the second project which is took up was a big -budget production - Lucifer. And after that I never expected I would get the chance to be part of the it’s second installment as well,” said Saniya Iyappan.


She further said that she got to work with the same cast and crew of ‘Lucifer’ in the second installment. “But Empuraan’ was a completely new and fresh experience for me. And it’s always a pleasure working with Prithviraj, “ said the ‘Empuraan’ actress.

On the last day, the makers also shared the character look poster for the actor Manikuttan in the movie. Interestingly the actor will be playing a character with his real name in this Mohanlal starrer.

Directed by Prithviraj, scripted by Murali Gopy and Mohanlal in the lead, ‘L2: Empuraan’ is surely one of the most highly awaited films this year in Mollywood. The big budget action flick will hit the big screens on March 27 this year.
