'. There is a lot of buzz regarding its making and cast, but the recent reports suggest that Mohanlal's daughter Vismaya is going to assist Mohanlal for the movie. Reports are rife that Vismaya will be working as an assistant director for her dad in 'Barroz'.However, as per sources, the superstar’s daughter hasn’t yet exhibited any interest in cinema as she is more drawn towards literature and art.

Meanwhile, ‘Barroz’ is a much-awaited ambitious project of Mohanlal. The movie will be shot in 3D. ‘

is backing the project. Sources also suggest that cinematographer K.U. Mohanan is cranking the lens for the movie. Spanish actors Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo have been roped in to play the lead roles. The team was planning to kick start the shoot of the movie by June in Goa, but they couldn't do so due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal will be next seen in ‘Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham’. The movie was slated to hit the screens in March, but the team had to postpone the release due to the pandemic. As theatres remain shut till date and the uncertainty continues, there are no updates regarding the new release date.
