Mohanlal's 'Neru' gains momentum with impressive pre-sales of Rs 3.45 lakhs in UAE ahead of release

The much-anticipated courtroom drama 'Neru,' starring Mohanlal and directed by Jeethu Joseph, is all set for its release on December 21, and reports indicate an auspicious start with substantial pre-sales business recorded in the UAE market, amounting to a staggering Rs 3.45 lakhs.

As per Friday Matinee's UAE Pre-Sales Update on December 14, tracking reveals impressive traction with 141 shows and 444 admissions, culminating in a gross revenue of Rs 3.45 Lakhs. The movie is set to premiere across 30 locations in the UAE, scheduling over 150 shows on its opening day.


Even though the film didn’t had any huge promotions in the beginning, the trailer for ‘Neru’ soared the expectation levels among the audiences.

'Neru,' a collaborative script by Jeethu Joseph and Santhi Mayadevi, renowned for her pivotal role in 'Drishyam 2,' unfolds a compelling narrative. The storyline orbits around Vijayamohan, portrayed by Mohanlal, who becomes intricately involved in defending an uncertainly hopeful accused in a trial.

Amidst the courtroom drama, the film reportedly delves into Sara's journey, a visually impaired sculptor, navigating her traumatic experience while endeavoring to seek justice. Sara grapples not only with the complexities of the legal system but also with her own resilience and determination to attain closure.

Apart from the stellar performance by Mohanlal, 'Neru' boasts a dynamic ensemble cast, featuring talents like Priyamani, Santhi Mayadevi, Anaswara Rajan, Siddique, Jagadish, Mathew Varghese, Sreedhanya, and Sankar Induchoodan.
