Veteran screenwriter and National award-winning filmmaker Dennis Joseph passed away this week. Mammootty, who has worked with him in many films including ‘Nirakkoottu’, ‘Manu Uncle’, ‘Nair Saab’, ‘No.20 Madras Mail’, ‘Kottayam Kunjachan’ and ‘New Delhi’ among others bid an emotional adieu to his friend. And this memorable throwback picture of the duo made headlines for all right reasons.

Mohanlal too has worked in many films scripted by Dennis Joseph and his untimely demise left the superstar devastated. Dennis Joseph had a pivotal role in making Mohanlal and Mammootty superstars and ‘Rajavinte Makan’, scripted by Dennis, is an important movie in Mohanlal’s career. The superstar was shattered by his dear friend’s untimely demise and Mohanlal shared this throwback picture and also penned an emotional farewell.
