’ returning to Kerala


The cast and crew of the upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Djibouti’ were filming in Africa during the lockdown and were stranded there after flights being canceled and unavailable. A 73-member crew including director SJ Sinu, actors Amith Chakkalakkal, Dileesh Pothan,

, and many other actors returned to Kerala, after three months. The team had completed the shoot by April 18, but couldn’t return due to the crisis and returned to Kerala by June 5.

Prithviraj Sukumaran reuniting with his family


After testing negative for COVID-19, Prithviraj Sukumaran returned to his home and reunited with his family. The actor returned after completing the 14-day quarantine process, as he has returned from Jordan recently. The actor reunited with his family and shared a happy photo with his wife Supriya Menon and daughter Alankritha. Prithviraj Sukumaran and the crew of ‘Aadujeevitham’ were filming in Jordan’s Wadi Rum, during the outbreak.

Meghana Raj's husband Chiranjeevi Sarja’s passing away


Mollywood actress Meghana Raj’s husband and Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away on June 7. As per reports, the actor was admitted to a Bengaluru hospital on Saturday because of breathing issues and passed away on Sunday following a heart attack. The actor was known for his roles in films like ‘Sinnga’, ‘Chirru’ and ‘Amma I love you’. The news came as a shock to the entire entertainment industry and also Mollywood.

Filmmaker Vinayan announcing the start of music composing for his next


Filmmaker Vinayan announced that the music composing for his next ‘Pathombatham Noottandu’ had been started. The filmmaker has announced the movie a week prior to the coronavirus outbreak and was planning to begin the shoot by April last week. However, the sudden crisis has forced the makers to postpone the shoot to the end of September. But the director decided to begin the music work as the government has earlier granted permission for post-production work. As per sources, M Jayachandran will be composing music for the movie.
