‘Nadanna Sambavam’ promo song takes satirical jab at online yellow journalism

The upcoming Malayalam film ‘Nadanna Sambavam’ featuring Biju Menon and Suraj Venjaramoodu is making waves with a newly released promo song that cleverly mocks the world of online yellow journalism. The comedy drama, directed by Vishnu Narayanan, utilizes the song as a creative critique of the sensationalist practices often seen in modern digital news reporting.

The promo song stars Sudhi Koppa as an online journalist with the comical moniker ‘Linkan,’ who is obsessed with generating news from any scenario he encounters. Accompanied by a character dressed as a CCTV camera, Linkan’s escapades highlight his penchant for delving into others' lives and turning trivial events into headline-grabbing stories.

However, Linkan’s antics take a twist when he is caught by a group of individuals for his intrusive behavior, only for another media outlet to sensationalize the incident by reporting on his confrontation with the public. This meta-narrative humorously brings out the cycle of sensationalism in the media.
