National award-winning director Priyanandan is all set to direct his next movie named '
Silencer
' which will be based on the acclaimed short story by the same name written by Visakhan. The 'switch on' ceremony of the movie was inaugurated in
Thrissur
by Education Minister Prof. C Raveendranath and Agriculture minister VS Sunikumar.
The movie will apparently focus on a central character named Eenashu who is reinventing a new bonding with his motorcycle during his isolated old age days. The story is set in the backdrop of Thrissur but has a universal appeal for its world created with memories and dreams.
Lal will reportedly play the protagonist's role in 'Silencer', while Irshad, Meera Vasudev, Ramu,
Jayaraj Warrier,
Sneha Divakaran are the other actors in the movie. Dialogues and the script work of the movie is written by PN Gopikrishnan while Ashwakhoshan helms the cinematography department.
