Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup’s film titled ‘Janaki Jaane’

Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup’s upcoming film is titled ‘Janaki Jaane’. The makers launched the title on Wednesday (Jan 11) via social media. The film is helmed by Aniesh Upaasana, who has previously directed films like ‘Matinee’, ‘Seconds’ and ‘Popcorn’.

The first look poster features the lead actors Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup decked up in ethnic outfits, apparently attending the puja function of their house construction.

Saiju Kurup shared the poster on his social media handle and said, “Dear friends and family… Post one year of Gundajayan and Antakshari and the wonderful reviews that have poured in since, we are happy to announce our next project JANAKI JAANE... Hoping for your continued support, encouragement and prayers❤️❤️❤️ Presenting the first look poster of #JanakiJaane.”

Interestingly, Navya Nair has worked with Saiju Kurup in ‘Oruthee’, and the upcoming film will mark their reunion. ‘Janaki Jaane’ is a light entertainer.

'Janaki Jaane' is written and directed by Aniesh Upaasana. On the technical front, Syamaprakash MS has roped in as the cinematographer, and Noufal Abdullah is the editor. The music for the film is done by Kailas Menon, and Jothish Shankar is the production designer. The film went on floors on November 10.
