Navya Nair on her frequent nightmares: Trapped with Mohanlal, Prithviraj, and a strange creature

Mollywood actress Navya Nair recently opened up about the nightmares that affect her sleep cycle.


In her vlog shared on social media, Navya Nair revealed that she had experienced strange and terrifying dreams since her childhood. Whenever she fell asleep, she used to jump out of bed, affected by these terrifying dreams.

All efforts to wash her face, and relax won’t help her as Navya Nair steps into the same nightmare whenever she falls asleep. There are days when she is not able to sleep again, haunted by these nightmares.

“If I wake up in the middle of the night, probably at 2 am or something, I won’t be able to sleep again as the fear lingers in me. I usually watch some videos on my phone to pass the time,” said Navya Nair in her vlog.

Navya Nair added that she feels relaxed only when the daylight hits and then she takes a nap. The Mollywood actress went on to describe one of her haunting dreams, “I saw myself trapped in an imaginary world with only cliffs, rocks, and sand around me. I was with Mohanlal, Prithviraj, cinematographer P Sukumar and there’s a strange creature around us.”

Navya Nair added, “This creature had a body covered in bubbles and bulging black eyes. It was after me. Mohanlal, Prithviraj, and Sukumar tried to save me from this demonic creature.” She also said that even though it feels funny now, the dream was quite terrifying.

Interestingly Navya Nair played the role of Janaki, who is struggling with panic disorder in her previous outing ‘Janaki Jaane’. Her character in the film seems to be having some real connections with her real self.
