Nayanthara’s heartfelt Women’s Day tribute to her mother: it's impossible to be like you

Actress Nayanthara marked Women’s Day with a touching tribute to her mother, sharing a heartfelt note on her official Instagram handle.


Posting a picture of her mother on her Instagram story, she expressed deep admiration and gratitude, calling her the "strongest, kindest, and purest" person she knows. In her post, Nayanthara wrote, "Happy Women's Day, Amma! Strongest, kindest, purest!! The definition of love and devotion. You are so full of goodness that it's impossible to be like you. Love you."



On the professional front, Nayanthara is gearing up for the release of Test, a sports drama set to premiere directly on OTT on March 14, 2025. The film features Siddharth and R. Madhavan alongside her in key roles. Apart from Test, she has an exciting lineup of projects, including Toxic, where she shares the screen with Yash, and MMMN, a much-anticipated film starring both Mammootty and Mohanlal.

Additionally, Nayanthara is working on ‘Dear Students’ where she will team up with the Mollywood star Nivin Pauly after a long gap. Nayanthara and Nivin Pauly previously teamed up for the commercial entertainer film ‘Love Action Drama’ which was directed by Dhyan Sreenivasam. ‘Dear Students’ was announced by Nivin Pauly on New Year with a caption that read, “New Year and New Stories. Gearing up for this exciting journey in 2025 . #dearstudentsmovie.”

Meanwhile, Nayanthara recently penned a note, requesting fans to stop calling her ‘Lady Superstar’. Her Instagram note read, “I humbly request you all to call me 'Nayanthara'. This is because I feel that the name is what I hold closest to my heart. It represents who I am—not just as an actor but as an individual. Titles and accolades are priceless, but they can sometimes create an image that separates us from our work, our craft, and the unconditional bond we share with you—the audience.”
