Abrid Shine is working hard on his next titled '
The Kung Fu Master
'. Touted to be an all-out action film, the narrative is rooted in martial arts. Abrid Shine, who has directed Nivin Pauly and
Kalidas Jayaram earlier, has now cast 'Poomaram' girl Neeta Pillai as the lead in this film. The first look poster of the movie was recently unveiled and showcased essayed by Neeta Pillai, Jiji Scaria and Sanoop Dinesh in an adventurous avatar. The tagline of the movie reads, 'A tale of Vengeance'.

'The Kung Fu Master' is said to be influenced by the action films of
Bruce Lee,
Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Sources suggest that the team has filmed 'The Kung Fu Master' in the Himalayas. Abrid Shine has penned the story for the film which is bankrolled by Shibu Thekkumpuram of Fullon studio frames. Actor-director Major Ravi's son Arjun will mark his debut as a cinematographer with this film. Debutant KR Mithun has been roped in as the editor, while Ishaan Chhabra is composing the music. 'The Kung Fu Master' is set to hit the screens in January 2020.
Abrid Shine is known for his experimental movies and enjoys exploring various genres. Shine marked his debut with Nivin Pauly starrer '1983', which was a sports drama. Following its success, Abrid once again roped in Nivin for '
Action Hero Biju
', a comedy-drama.
