Omar Lulu gets a surprise gift from Power Star producer
Omar Lulu’s upcoming movie
Omar posted videos of him receiving the brand new Thar from a showroom in Thrissur. The producer, Rathish Aanedath, had reportedly told him to go to the showroom and when he reached there the sales personnel revealed the surprise – the brand new car that was booked in the filmmaker’s name.
The Oru Adaar Love and Chunkzz director said he was surprised at the producer’s gesture even before the movie had begun. The action-thriller, which was set to go on floors in October, will now only start filming in January 2021.
The director had earlier expressed that he was tense about the movie as it would mark the comeback of Babu Antony as a hero after a long time. The film, which is scripted by Dennis Joseph, will also have Hollywood actor Louis Mandylor, Baburaj, Riyaz Khan and Abu Salim in important roles.
Rumours are rife that the film deals with drug smuggling and is set in Karnataka. The movie will have no songs or a heroine. Omar, who had made his debut with the sleeper hit Happy Wedding, had last helmed Dhamaka which had Arun, Mukesh and Nikki Galrani in lead roles.
