Padmapriya to reprise Sofia Vergara's role in Chef?

We had earlier announced that

Padmapriya

will be making her

Bollywood

debut with Saif Ali Khan's

Chef

in the role of an ex-wife to the movie's protagonist.

We now hear that the Padmapriya is the only female lead in the film, which is directed by Airlift filmmaker Raja Krishna Menon. 'She will be reprising Sofia Vergara's role in the movie which is a remake of the Jon Favreau's Hollywood movie,' says a source close to the actress.

Padmapriya, meanwhile, will be seen in

Tiyaan

next and is also part of a vignette directed by Madhupal.
