‘Padmini’ OTT: Kunchacko Boban starrer starts digital streaming

For those who have missed the theatrical experience, Kunchacko Boban and Thinkalazhcha Nischayam’ director Senna Hegde’s ‘Padmini’ started streaming on a popular OTT platform.

Hitting the big screens on June 23 this year, the Kunchacko Boban starrer received good responses from the audience, although it didn’t make much impact at the box office.

On the other hand, ‘Padmini’s producer accused Kunchacko Boban of not showing up for any promotional activities for the movie even though he took a big amount as his remuneration. The producer also posted a note mocking Kunchacko Boban, saying that the film is raking in good numbers at the box office without any support from the lead actors.

Helmed by the promising director Senna Hegde, ‘Padmini’ revolved around the story of a college teacher and part-time poet, Rameshan, played by Kunchacko Boban. The script of the drama movie was penned by the ‘Kunjiramayanam’ famed Deepu Pradeep, and the editing section was handled by Manu Antony, who is best known for the films ‘Iratta’ and ‘Christy.

Apart from Kunchacko Boban, ‘Padmini’ also featured the actors Anaswara Rajan, Madonna Sebastian, Aparna Balamurali, Malavika Menon, and Vincy Aloshious in significant roles.

Meanwhile, Kunchacko Boban has the most anticipated project, ‘Chaaver, in the pipeline.
