Paris Laxmi’s Navratri production ‘Parashakti’

often comes up with innovative dance productions during festive and other important occasions.

Most recently, she has put together a piece titled ‘

Parashakti

’ for Navratri. The production is scripted, choreographed and directed by herself. The video of ‘Parashakti’ is featured on the character of a young artist who does a prayerful dance dedication. Dressed in the Malayali ethnic wear ‘pattu paavaada’ and blouse, Laxmi looks her traditional best too in the performance.

The music of the video is composed, written and sung by musician Bhagyalakshmi Guruvayoor. Sharing the song via her online page, Bhagyalaksmi has written:

A few months ago, Laxmi had also released a dance production on the occasion of World Environment day, showing how human beings abuse Mother Earth, resulting in her getting enraged by the same. It also went on to show how human beings get a chance to set things right, and gives a few pointers like ‘Let us take the right decisions today,’ ‘Let us rise for our planet,’ Let us drastically reduce destructive impact,’ ‘And give a bright future to our children.’The video’s background score was by Rahul Raj, and its original track was Celestium. And around the time the pandemic initially gripped the world, she had also brought out a video on the Covid – 19 pandemic, titled ‘Odi Poyidu Coronave,’ in which she appeared in a dual role as the coronavirus and the human it chases.
