Parvathy Thiruvothu's ‘Ullozhukku’ grosses Rs 4.3 crores in 26 days at box office

Parvathy Thiruvothu and Urvashi’s intense drama film ‘Ullozhukku’ continues to make a significant impact at the box office. The movie, which has been receiving positive feedback from audiences and critics alike, has collected a total of Rs 4.3 crores in 26 days since its release.

According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 2 lakhs on its 26th day from the Kerala Box Office (KBO), bringing its total Malayalam Net Box Office collections to Rs 3.82 crores.

Directed by Christo Tomy, ‘Ullozhukku’ is a claustrophobic psychological drama that delves into the lives of two women trapped in man-made prisons. The story is set against the backdrop of a flooded region in Kerala, where a woman and her daughter-in-law face the daunting task of burying a loved one. However, due to the relentless floods, the burial is postponed, unearthing long-buried secrets and lies that threaten to tear the family apart.

The film features a stellar cast, with Urvashi and Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead roles. They are supported by Arjun Radhakrishnan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Prashanth Murali, and Jaya Kurup, who deliver compelling performances that add depth and nuance to the story.
