‘Patriot’ second look poster: Mammootty, Mohanlal front the attack, Kunchacko Boban backs them

‘Patriot’ starring Mammootty and Mohanlal is set for release with the makers now dropping the second look poster. The poster features Kunchacko Boban driving a car, with Mohanlal emerging from the sunroof, aiming with a rifle. Mammootty hangs out of the side door of the speeding car with a gun, aiming at the enemy. They are in full-on attack mode, and the poster has taken the internet by storm. The poster promises an action-packed adventure in the theatres.

In a collaborative post on Instagram, Mammootty and Mohanlal dropped the poster on Thursday, February 26. “#Patriot Second Look Poster. In Cinemas Worldwide from April 23, 2026,” the caption read.






Both netizens and the peers of the superstars are thrilled by the poster of Mahesh Narayanan’s directorial.

What should you know about ‘Patriot’?

‘Patriot’, helmed by Mahesh Narayanan, features Mammootty and Mohanlal in the lead roles. The upcoming film also marks their reunion after a long time. Talking about bringing the superstars in a fully-fledged role, the director earlier said, “I didn’t cast them just because they are stars. I approached them because those actors were right for the story I wanted to tell. They, too, come to the set as dedicated artists.”

Along with the two superstars, ‘Patriot’ also has an ensemble cast of Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, and Kunchacko Boban. Actors Rajeev Menon, Revathy, Darshana Rajendran, and Zarin Shihab are also part of the cast.

Touted to be an espionage thriller, ‘Patriot’ is slated for a worldwide release on April 23. On the technical front, Sushin Shyam is composing the music. Manush Nandan handles the cinematography, and Mahesh Narayanan is the editor, alongside Rahul Radhakrishnan.
