‘Pavi Caretaker’ box office collections day 21: Dileep-Vineeth Kumar’s film mints only Rs 3 lakhs

Dileep and Vineeth Kumar's latest comedy-drama, ‘Pavi Caretaker’, has faced a challenging run at the box office.

According to the Sacnilk website, the film earned only Rs 3 lakhs on its 21st day, bringing its total worldwide box office collections to Rs 8.05 crores. Within India, the net collections amount to Rs 7.05 crores, while the gross collections match the worldwide figure of Rs 8.05 crores.

‘Pavi Caretaker’ tells the heartwarming story of Pavi, a night watchman and caretaker for a residential apartment in Kochi, who navigates life's ups and downs with his loyal labrador, Bro. The film explores themes of friendship, love, and self-discovery as Pavi's life takes an unexpected turn due to a newfound friendship with a roommate.

Despite the engaging plot and the strong performances, especially by Dileep in the lead role, the film has not managed to attract a significant audience. The modest box office performance indicates that ‘Pavi Caretaker’ struggled to compete with other releases and capture the attention of moviegoers.

On the other hand, Dileep's previous outing was with Ratheesh Reghunandan's crime drama film 'Thankamani' which unfortunately did an underwhelming performance at the box office.
