‘Plaavila’ has Siddique and Shanthi Krishna as lead actors

The movie’s switch on was held recently in Kochi, at Anchumana Devi Temple. Its shoot is expected to start in Ernakulam by the end of the month of March. The technicians, artistes, musicians and others were spotted at the switch on ceremony in Kochi.

The film has actors Siddhique and Shanthi Krishna playing the lead roles. Lal, Salim Kumar, Prem Kumar, Sunil Sughada, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Saju Navodaya aka Pashanam Shaji, Edavela Babu, Arun Master, Rachana Narayanankutty, Shweta Menon, Master Praveg Marar, Geetha Vijayan, newbie Nimmy Antony and Nandana Rajeev play major roles in the film.

Eariler, it was reported that a few of the songs of the film are sung by veteran vocalist P Jayachandran and young singer Sreya Jayadeep alongside others. The movie has a lullaby written by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboodiri and a ghazal track by Rafeeq Ahamed, which are composed by Dr Kanjangad Ramachandran.

The film also has songs by veteran singer G Venugopal, Madhu Balakrishnan and Sithara Krishnakumar. Prakash Vadikkal has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of 'Plaavila.' The cinematographer of the film is V K Pradeep. Kumar Edappal is the costume designer of the movie, which has Kamal Payyannur as the Chief Associate director. V Sajan is the editor of ‘Plaavila.’

The director had earlier said that the makers are planning to complete the shooting of the film in a single location, employing less than 50 members.
