Pope Francis releases 3D title poster of film based on the Bible - 'Jesus and Mother Mary'

Pope Francis released the 3D title poster of the Bible-based film ‘Jesus and Mother Mary’ at the Vatican. It is going to be an English movie and will also be dubbed in various other languages.

More than 150 people from around the world were present at the unveiling ceremony, where the Pope blessed the project. Producer Raphael Pozholiparambil presented a unique 3D portrait to Pope Francis.

The film, directed by Thomas Benjamin, features project design and technical direction by Jeemon Pulleli.

The renowned 3D expert Chuck Comisky who has handled work for a few internationally acclaimed projects has taken the responsibility of managing 3D visual effects in this film.

The UK and Italy-based company Makinarium has undertaken prosthetic makeup, and Camex is leading art production from Hong Kong. With Raphael Film Productions behind it, there are co-producers to its credit in Qatari entrepreneur Davis Edakalthur and the team of collaborators from UAE and India.

Leading the stereoscopic 3D production is XRFX, while post-production is taken care of by India-based CG Park.

With advanced 3D filmmaking techniques and a substantial budget, 'Jesus and Mother Mary' aims to redefine visual storytelling in religious cinema. The expectations are quite high for ‘Jesus and Mother Mary’.
