‘Pottithakarnna Kinavu’ video song from ‘Neelavelicham’ out!

Makers of ‘Neelavelicham’ have finally launched the video song of ‘Pottithakarnna Kinavu’. The song features Rima Kallingal, who plays the Bhargavi and Tovino Thomas, who essays the role of the writer.

KS Chithra has lent her soulful voice to ‘Pottithakarnna Kinavu,’ a rendition of a song originally written by P Bhaskaran and composed by MS Baburaj, and crooned by S Janaki for the film Bhargavi Nilayam. The new version perfectly captures the emotions of the song and adds to the poignant portrayal of the protagonist Bhargavi, played by Rima Kallingal in the upcoming movie.

Rima Kallingal launched the song on her social media handle and captioned, “'Pottithakarnna Kinav' video song. Out now.”

Directed by Aashiq Abu, ‘Neelavelicham’ centers around a writer who chooses to stay in a reputedly haunted house, where a woman is said to have died by suicide due to heartbreak. Based on Vaikom Muhammed Basheer's eponymous short story. Tovino Thomas plays the writer, inspired by Basheer himself, while Rima Kallingal and Roshan Mathew portray the characters of a couple who were in love but had to separate for unknown reasons.

‘Neelavelicham’ hit the big screens on April 20. The film also has actors Shine Tom Chacko, Rajesh Madhavan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and, Pramod Veliyanad in some important roles.
