Prachi Tehlan, the 'Mamangam' actress, got her first tattoo as a tribute to her late grandmother. The tattoo features the 'Nani' inscription in a purple flower, symbolizing her grandmother's strength. She will be seen next in the movie 'Varaham' starring Suresh Gopi.

Prachi Tehlan recently got her first tattoo, and that is a beautiful tribute to her late grandmother. The ‘Mamangam’ actress lost her grandmother in November of last year, 2023. For Prachi, her grandmother was her biggest inspiration and strength, and she wanted a piece of her nani forever, so she decided to get those inscribed! She got the tattoo written 'Nani' on the side arm of her left hand.
Prachi Tehlan dropped a video of her getting the tattoo and wrote, “I GOT INKED. Despite my initial hesitations about getting inked, I knew that if I ever did, it had to be for someone truly special. My Nani’s strength and inspiration have guided me since childhood, so it was only fitting that my first tattoo be dedicated to her.”
Speaking about the inscription and the colours used, she added, “The ‘Nani’ inscription blooms into a beautiful purple flower—her favourite colour—symbolising the roots she planted and nurtured among her children and grandchildren. A tribute to a remarkable woman who will forever be the heart of our family garden. #TattooTribute #NeverForget.”

In November last year, when Prachi lost her grandmother, she penned a heartfelt tribute, which read, “I want to pay tribute to the strongest, kindest, and sweetest woman I have ever known in my life—my Nani. She has been my inspiration, my iron lady, my heart, and my soul. No matter what life threw at her, she faced it with the most adorable smile on her face, accompanied by her two charming dimples. Nani, your presence will never leave me as long as I am alive. You have taught me the true meaning of love and care, showing me that it should be extended to everyone, regardless of how they treat you. Your life has been an example of humanity, as you tirelessly worked towards helping underprivileged children and achieving top positions in our country across various fields.”
