Prayaga Martin poured her heart out in her recent note, as she spoke about working for the anthology series ‘Navarasa’. As the title suggests, the anthology series explored nine emotions, and had nine parts. Prayaga Martin played the lead role opposite
Suriya in the part ‘Guitar Kambi Mele Nindru’. Directed by
Gautham Vasudev Menon, the part featured Suriya as Kamal, an independent musician, and Prayaga played the role of Nethra, his lover.
Prayaga Martin took to her social media handle and penned, “Haven't spoken about #GuitarKambiMeleNindru in a long time, so why not today. There’s something so deep, so personal that struck me at the first reading of the script that somehow , how much ever I try to limit it to one meaning, it’s hard. Love is hard, but there’s comfort in what we feel. This film holds a special place as I (we) saw, I (we) felt what I (we) wanted to seek. Seems like nobody could crack it! As Nethra quotes, “it’s left to your imagination” #GuitarKambiMeleNindru spewing ❤ @netflix_in On that note, finishing up this story with a deep thought. “There are no answers to any of these questions, love is just love, together or apart.” #GKMN was what I liked to call a team. Absolute magic. And to the lensman @danushbhaskar thank you for beautifully capturing these! A @gauthamvasudevmenon film. Enough said. Thank you Sir.”
