‘Premalu’ actor Sangeeth Prathap on recovery post-accident: “My wife took care of me like I was her child”

‘Premalu’ actor Sangeeth Prathap recently opened up about his harrowing experience following a life-altering accident that occurred on July 29 during the shoot of his upcoming film Bromance. A month after the incident, Sangeeth took to social media to share his journey of recovery, expressing deep gratitude for the unwavering support he received from his wife, family, and friends.


In an emotional post, Sangeeth shared two pictures: the first taken just days after the accident, and the second taken recently before returning to the set. Reflecting on the past month, he wrote, “First pic - just few days after accident | second pic - Today before going to shoot. Life after a fall 27/7/24 - 27/8/24 Last month, on this same day, my life was turned upside down when I met with a crash. Initially, I thought nothing happened to me, but after a while, when a nurse told me that I was in a very risky condition and that I was saved luckily, the tension began.”


The actor candidly described the emotional rollercoaster he experienced in the aftermath of the accident. “From that day, I went through many emotions—sometimes I was sad, depressed, and fearful, but other times I felt it was a second chance to sit, think, and pray,” Sangeeth shared, highlighting how the incident forced him to reevaluate his life and future.

Sangeeth’s heartfelt post also paid tribute to his wife, whose care and support played a crucial role in his recovery. “My wife, my best friend, took care of me like I was her child, and I realized how much more I could love her and that she truly deserves it,” he wrote, adding that the experience brought them even closer. He also expressed gratitude towards his parents, friends, and well-wishers, noting that each message he received helped him find hope and strength during a difficult time.

As he prepared to return to the set of ‘Bromance’, Sangeeth reflected on how the accident had changed his perspective on life. “I got many answers to my doubts about the future, realizing that planning is often useless because nothing is in your control. It’s better to go with the flow,” he wrote.

He concluded his message with a sense of optimism and courage: “Today, Finally life is back to Normal and I am going back to my favorite place, Shooting set of Bromance. I am still a bit clouded, but now I know there is no need to worry; the clouds will clear on their own.”

In a comment, Sangeeth reassured his followers, “27/8/24. Now I am perfectly fine and life is back to normal (not the old bad one, embracing this new version of myself), and today I’m out for 'Bromance' shoot.”
