The director said, “I love crafting romantic comedies, especially when I can include multiple perspectives.”. Instead of idealizing relationships, he portrays them as flawed and immature, adding a realistic touch to his stories.
Girish AD said that while writing a script, he gives importance to well-developed characters with the inclusion of commercial elements, ensuring the film appeals to a wide audience.
Reflecting on his inspiration for choosing Hyderabad as the backdrop for ‘Premalu,’ Girish AD shares his fondness for Telugu culture and lifestyle. Although initially considering making ‘Super Sharanya’ in Telugu, the arrival of ‘Premalu’ led to a captivating portrayal of Hyderabad's vibrant youth and their unique love stories.
Meanwhile, Naslen and Mamitha Baiju starrer ‘Premalu’ has hit the big screens and is expected to be another hit from the ‘Thanneermathan Dinangal’ director Girish AD.
