Prithviraj on the connection between the bike in Cold Case and his dad

has caught the attention of many for the motorbike his character leans on.

Entrepreneur Anand Mahindra had commented on his Twitter to a post about Prithviraj riding a

Jawa

Forty Two in the film. "This is basic astronomy: an alignment of Stars…," he tweeted.

In reply, Prithviraj had shared a connection the bike had with his father. "Don’t know about the stars..but the alignment is probably true. My dad used to ride one to Scot Christian college when he used to teach there before becoming an actor himself. Did unsuccessfully try to get a picture of him and his Jawa!" tweeted Prithviraj.

The actor, meanwhile, was recently spotted shooting in Perunguzhi for Tanu Balak's Cold Case. The film has him playing an investigative officer named ACP Sathyajith and has Aditi Balan as the female protagonist.

Tanu, who will be making his directorial debut with the film set entirely in Thiruvananthapuram, earlier told us, "It draws inspiration from real-life incidents but overall it’s a fictional story. It has a reasonable budget. Though it doesn’t have action sequences, it is still a big project. Prithviraj plays an investigative officer in the film and there are only a few scenes with crowds.”

Cold Case, which is scripted by Srinath V Nath, has cinematography by Gireesh Gangadharan and Jomon T John, who is also co-producing the film with Anto Joseph and editor Shameer Muhammed. The film is shot completely following the Covid-19 protocols.
