Meanwhile, ‘Marakkar - Arabikkadalinte Simham’ made a big win at the 67th National Film Awards, by bagging three prestigious honours - Best feature film, Best Costume Design, and Best Special Effects.

The movie is set in the 16th century and tells the story of Kunjali Marakkar IV, naval commander of the Samoothiri, known for defending the

Malabar Coast

against the Portuguese invasion.

Some of the A-listers in the country including Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, Prabhu, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Mukesh, Siddique, and Nedumudi Venu are part of the cast.
