Maharajas College in the city has been a breeding ground for many in the Malayalam film industry, who after graduating went on to become renowned directors, writers and producers.
Producer Vinod Vijayan recently posted on his social networking page, a picture taken ten years back, and which has Rajeev Ravi, Amal Neerad and many others posing alongside him. In our Maharajas college campus. (sic)'
For Amal Neerad, Rajeev Ravi, Aashiq Abu, Anwar Rasheed, Vinod Vijayan and Sameer Thahir and many others, the college is still a guiding force.
