As the Tovino Thomas starrer ‘2018’ achieves the record of being the fastest 100 crore film in the Mollywood film industry, the ‘Pulimurugan’ director is all praise for the entire team of Jude Anthany Joseph’s directorial.
Director Vysakh took to his official Facebook handle and shared his appreciation for the entire team of ‘2018’. The director’s post read, "So happy to see this... Fastest 100 crore film in Malayalam cinema... Congratulations to Team 2018 for this milestone. What a comeback for the Mollywood industry! Everyone is a hero."

Meanwhile, Jude Anthany Joseph’s disaster drama is now moving towards defeating the collection figures of ‘Pulimurugan" and ‘Lucifer," which stand at Rs 140 crores and Rs 120 crores, respectively. With all the positive reviews flooding in, it would be a cakewalk for ‘2018’ to break the records of ‘Pulimurugan’ and ‘Lucifer’ within the coming days.
‘2018’ has also become the only movie with no superstars to enter the Rs 100 crore club, all thanks to Jude Anthany Joseph’s terrific direction and the magnificent performances of Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Narain, Kunchacko Boban, and Lal. ‘2018’ has also become the first Malayalam film ever to hit Rs 5 crore gross in a single day.
