‘Pushpa 2’ Kerala box office collections day 11: Allu Arjun’s action flick crosses Rs 13 crores

The Malayali audiences are clearly not happy with Allu Arjun’s actioner Pushpa 2, and a decline in the movie's KBO collections is visible on the 11th day.

According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Pushpa 2’ has only managed to mint Rs 13.4 crores from the Kerala box office in 13 days. Early estimates say that the movie had only minted 40 lakhs on day 11.




Despite being a weekend, ‘Pushpa 2’ has only managed to collect Rs 40 lakhs on both Saturday and Sunday, which is quite underwhelming. Even though audiences in other states are celebrating the success of ‘Pushpa 2’, Malayali audiences are criticizing the movie for its mediocre content, and also Fahadh Faasil’s character is said to be not up to the mark.



Earlier, during the promotional interview for the film ‘Sookshmadarshini’, Nazriya said that ‘Pushpa 2’ will showcase the real acting skills of Fahadh Faasil and also said that the first part was just a teaser for what was to come. Contrary to what Nazriya said, ‘Fahadh Faasil’s Bhanwar Singh character has not impressed the Malayali audiences.


On the other hand, ‘Pushpa 2’ has made an overall Indian collection of Rs 900.5 crores in 11 days, and in Telugu, the movie has collected Rs 279.35 crores and in Hindi, the film collected Rs 553.1 crores.


From Tamil Nadu, Sukumar’s directorial actioner has managed to collect Rs 48.1 crores and from Karnataka, the movie has minted Rs 6.55 crores.


ETimes review for ‘Pushpa 2’ reads, “Sukumar doesn’t just focus on the grandeur of action; he incorporates subtle humour through the quirks and mannerisms of the characters, whether it’s Pushpa Raj, Banwar Singh Shekhawat, or the supporting cast. Each character has a distinct identity that enriches the story. Even when the film seems to linger towards the end, the emotional payoff in the climax redeems it, providing satisfying closure to Pushpa’s internal and external conflicts.”
