‘Queen Elizabeth’ trailer: Meera Jasmine and Narain shines in this ‘opposites attract’ rom-com

Meera Jasmine and Narain starrer ‘Queen Elizabeth’ is gearing up for release this month. Ahead of it, the makers have launched a trailer, which has managed to garner the attention of the movie buffs. The makers dropped the much-awaited trailer on Friday, December 16.

The trailer features Meera Jasmine in the shoes of a headstrong woman named Elizabeth. Elizabeth is single, and unlike many, she isn’t nosy. She loves to mind her own business and is least interested in other people’s lives. For the people around her, Elizabeth is a tough woman to deal with, however, Mr. Alex is determined to win her heart.

The trailer hints at a light-hearted rom-com ahead and the makers too have confirmed the same. “So glad to be sharing the trailer of Queen Elizabeth, a movie and a team so close to my being. Here is a sneak peek into her world,” Meera Jasmine said while launching the trailer.

Directed by M Padmakumar, ‘Queen Elizabeth’ is set to hit the big screens on December 29. The upcoming film marks Meera Jasmine and Narain’s reunion. They have earlier worked together in films 'Achuvinte Amma', 'Minnaminnikoottam', and ‘Ore Kadal’, among others.

Meera Jasmine, who made her second innings in Malayalam cinema last year (2022) with ‘Makal’, is thrilled to bring her next to the audience. “The warmth of homecoming and reminiscing on friendships that have lasted a lifetime.
