Radhika Sarathkumar reveals getting a call from Mohanlal after the hidden camera incident revelation

Actress Radhika Sarathkumar shared a disturbing experience from her time on a film set, where she discovered hidden cameras placed in her changing room. This revelation comes in the wake of the Hema Commission report, which has led to numerous #MeToo allegations across the Malayalam film industry. Adding a new dimension to her story, Radhika Sarathkumar disclosed that she received a call from none other than Mohanlal, who recently stepped down as the president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).


Talking to the press in Chennai, Radhika Sarathkumar recounted how Mohanlal reached out to her shortly after she revealed the hidden camera incident. The veteran actor expressed his concern and inquired whether such an incident had ever occurred on any of the sets where he was present. According to the actress, Mohanlal’s call came as a response to her public disclosure, showing his immediate concern over the serious nature of the incident.



As per her statement to Mathrubhumi, Radhika recalled, “Mohanlal reached out to me, inquiring if such an incident had ever occurred on any set where he was present. When I discovered that people on the set were watching the hidden camera footage, I started shouting. I also contacted the production company's officials and demanded immediate action.”

For the unversed, Radhika Sarathkumar recently described how she was stunned to find out that hidden cameras had been placed in her changing room on a film set. Radhika narrated that she noticed a group of people on the set watching something on a screen and laughing slyly. Curious and concerned, she approached them, only to realize that they were viewing footage of women changing clothes inside their caravans.

Fearing for her privacy and safety, Radhika confronted the individuals and demanded that they delete the videos immediately. However, she expressed her frustration, mentioning that there wasn’t much more she could do at the time since she was about to leave for the airport.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal and Radhika have previously teamed up for the comedy-drama movie ‘Ittymaani: Made in China’.
