Raj B Shetty plays Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram in Mammoottty’s ‘Turbo’

Mammootty starrer ‘Turbo’ is set to hit the big screens on May 23. The actioner also has Raj B Shetty in a pivotal role. Raj B Shetty is making his debut in Malayalam cinema with the upcoming film. The makers of ‘Turbo’ has now launched the much-anticipated character poster of Raj B Shetty. The talented actor will be essaying the role of Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, the antagonist in ‘Turbo’.

Interestingly, Raj B Shetty is also distributing the film in Karnataka, and the film will be hitting approximately 100 screens. In Kerala, the Mammootty starrer will be gracing over 500 screens.

In a recent interview with Cinema Express, Raj B Shetty recalls about working on the sets of ‘Turbo’. “When I stepped onto the sets of Turbo, I also came in as a student. I was impressed by the scale of production and realised, I haven’t achieved that level yet,” he said. He also stated that working with Mammootty in ‘Turbo’ was ‘intimidating’.

Directed by Vysakh, ‘Turbo’, also has actors Anjana Jayaprakash, Sunil, Shabareesh Varma, Dileesh Pothan, Bindu Panicker, Amina Nijam, Kabeer Singh Duhan, and, Niranjana Anoop in supporting roles.

On the technical front, Vishnu Sarma has taken charge of cinematography, with Shameer Muhammed handling the editing department. Christo Xavier has composed the music. The film is produced under Mammootty's home production banner and distributed by his son Dulquer Salmaan's production house.
