Rajeev Pillai, Sidhartha Siva are the leads in Prathimukham
Rajeev Pillai and Sidhartha Siva will be seen playing the leads in the latter’s brother Vishnu’s debut directorial titled
Talking about the movie, Rajeev says, “It’s a beautifully-drafted, festival-oriented movie dealing with a relevant subject. It’s a performance-driven role for me and I think it’s one of the best roles of Sidhartha so far. Marathi actress
Most of the film was shot in a village in Thiruvalla. “Siddhartha, Vishnu and I are from Thiruvalla. Our houses are just about four kilometres apart and we shot the film near our villages, so that was a memorable experience,” says the actor-model.
The movie has 10 more days of shoot left. However, Rajeev says that the team has not planned on when to resume filming. “The heroine and some other actors are from outside Kerala and before they join the sets, they would have to go into a 14-day quarantine. So, we are waiting till the pandemic situation gets better and the restrictions are eased,” he says.
Meanwhile, Rajeev is also part of a 3D Tamil horror-thriller titled Salmon, which has Vijay Yesudas as the hero. “I play a prominent role in it too,” says Rajeev, who regards his role in Thalaiva as one of his better outings in Kollywood. “I have about eight days of shoot left in the movie and we have to film a few songs and action scenes.”
